I am looking for part time design work on the weekends and evenings. I am open to anything from conceptual stage to detail drafting in solid works Inventor or Unigraphics.

I am NOT interested in full time work. NO recruiters as I am happy where I am.

3 Years Subsea Energy

�P Design of well head and tree equipment for major SubSea equipment supplier.

�P Designed new prototype running tools including, modeling, drafting, documentation, FMECA, test reports. Also designed all corresponding test fixtures.

�P Designed global lifting sling standardization project; coordinating international standards and suppliers.

�P Extensive cooperate subsea engineering training.

�P Completed designing to API 17/D 3 day course by John Fowler.

�P Introductory FEA experience including code writing and model preparation.

�P Extensive animations, modeling, and detail drafting experience in Unigraphics.

1 Year Automotive

Automotive - Product Engineer

�P Was part of the Halfshaft Design Group.

�P Worked on test reports, cost saving initiatives, FMEA and new product designs.

�P �P Orchestrated a calibration unit for the Electric Power Steering test stands.

�P Designed all the fixtures needed for the system in Unigraphics.

�P Drafted the parts in UG and coordinated their production in the prototype shop.

�P Designated a servomotor system to fit the design parameters.

�P Programmed control logic software with visual basic in excel.

2 Years manufacturing and Design

Manufacturing - Product Engineer

�P Provide full support for a variety of tool and die product lines.

�P Handle customer service, manufacturing issues, and engineering design and analysis.

�P Work with customers to design special die components for unique applications and solve technical issues.

�P Designed multiple prototype components for domestic and international markets.

�P Handle all quoting and produce monthly financial reports for the rotary cam line.

�P Design and draft in Solid Works, Unigraphics, Pro E, and Autocad.

Location: Houston
Compensation: 30hr
