Experience 2-3 years/ Customer support dealing with operational setup and installation. Experience with metering control systems. Field Knowledge required with transmitter signals such as RTD, 4-20mA, communication protocols such as RS232 RS485 wiring of such devices. Any field service experience with site visits and dealking with on site work. Any current work involved with measurement equipment, SCADA or PLC system. Working with instrument panels wiring and trouDevises, selects, sets up, and operates electronic instrumentation and related apparatus

used for testing operational electronic equipment, such as flow computers. Identifies

customer application software and hardware problems and translates test data for hardware

and software engineering personnel to formulate engineering and software design, design

modification and operating decisions.

May use computerized equipment and software to perform testing functions and produce

graphs, reports.

May configure flow computers and related equipment, such as remote terminal units,

programmable controllers, applying knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and

programming, using hand tools, and testing instruments and following manuals, schematic

diagrams, and blueprints.

Tests electrical components, such as wiring, and relays, using testing instruments, cables

and hand tools. Locates and replaces faulty flow computer firmware, software or hardware

including printed circuit board modules, program memory in flow computer, applying

knowledge of circuit board function, using computer display screen on flow computer and

following schematic diagram.

Discusses and verifies with customer the assignments of electrical supply wires, signal,

wires and related relay connections, modem, printer, cables etc. Be able to correct

configuration of application firmware and software Ensure that all hardware and software are

installed and configured according to specifications, following manuals and blueprints.ble shooting such equipment, knowledge of oil & gas industry.
